2. Indications of Acupuncture

Video Transcript:  People often ask, what are indications of acupuncture? In 1979, the World Health Organization, WHO, recommended 43 kinds of disorders can be treated by acupuncture. In 1997, the National Institute of Health released a consensus statement acknowledging acupuncture is effective for nausea, vomiting and dental pain, with other potential benefits for drug addiction, stroke rehabilitation, headaches, menstrual cramps, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia and asthma. Today actually there are additional indications of acupuncture go far beyond that, more than three hundred conditions can be treated.
