In addition to the skin lesion, shingles often accompanies intercostals neuralgia or trigeminal neuralgia. Ample clinical trials have verified acupuncture can generate effects more easily for herpes zoster and post-herpetic neuralgia at their acute stage and has obvious better results than medications.
